Wonderful Property
Our stay at Piece of Mine #3 was perfect. We had 11 wonderful nights and the location was perfect for exploring all of the different spots on the island. The owner and hostess are excellent at making sure that guests want for nothing. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bed is super comfortable, there are beach chairs, floats, a cooler, and so much more that came in handy for day trips to different beaches. Plenty of shade for relaxing out of the sun in the Tiki Hut. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the house is immaculate and nicely decorated. The view is magnificent- words just can’t describe it. The water is calm and perfect for swimming or kayaking - kayaks and snorkeling gear are provided. This place feels very private and quiet. We cannot wait to come back. We have stayed in several air bnbs and this was by far the best.

Harriet has the best space on the island! Tranquil, Peaceful, Soul-Filling, Life-giving, absolutely wonderful. My wife and I visited in May and were fortunate to have the entire property to ourselves. Even if Harriett had been hosting guests in the other cottages, we would have still felt able to enjoy an exclusive time together. The pictures featured on the listing are authentic and accurate, but don't quite capture how amazingly beautiful it is – or how close you actually are to the ocean. For us, it was paradise! If you want to spend time relaxing and enjoying down time, away from commercial tourism and the Georgetown area – this place on the South side of the island is what I highly recommend!
True perfection!
True perfection! Harriet and Tia are the most wonderful hosts, the location is just beautiful and everything is luxurious and first class. We spend hours and hours just watching the water, morning, noon and night! The cottage is well stocked with anything and everything we might want. It is our home away from home!

What a magnificent place! Stunning location and facilities. Your garden is THE BEACH AND THE SEA!!! We have made memories for life… kayaking at sunrise, walks along the beach, relaxing by the water. Harriet and Tia have thought of everything to make your stay special. Great communication, exceptional value. As seasoned travellers, it takes something special to exceed our expectations and A Piece of Mine definitely exceeded them! Stunning. Highly recommend.

Staying at Piece of Mine #3 was one of the best AirBnB places that we have stayed anywhere around the world.
First of all the owner Harriet is very responsive with any question before, during and after your stay (she probably sleeps with her phone under the pillow!) and no questions is too dumb or difficult for her to answer. Being born and raised in the Caymans she knows everything there is to know, places to go and visit and of course the best restaurants for all budgets.
The bungalow was immaculate and with a design and distribution that makes total sense for island living; you will find spending quite a bit of time enjoying the view of the sea while having your meal or a drink totally undisturbed. The views of the water are magnificent and beautiful. There are kayaks for your use. Since its out of the way from the busy touristy areas such as Georgetown and Seven Mile island, its really tranquil and peaceful (so if you want to be with the crowds, you will have to drive 30 minutes to meet them). For us the driving was very enjoyable and it forced us to visit every corner of the island. If you come here, renting a car is a must.
Also get used to some chickens, roosters and a little piglet to come around from time to time.
The owner Harriet really wants to make sure that you have a memorable vacation and will bend over backwards to make sure you do. She totally cares for that first and foremost. She actually currently lives in the property, so she is immediately available if you need anything. Since we arrived on a Sunday all the stores were closed, she even offered us eggs, bread and milk for breakfast for the next morning. And by the way, the cottage is so well stocked with anything you may have forgotten such that you really do not need to bring anything with you.....just yourself and the expectation to have a great and relaxing vacation (but if you must be connected the WiFi worked great).
We could have not picked a better place to stay in Grand Cayman. Thanks Harriet for a wonderful stay!
